The Flancher FL5B and FL5D are analog, voltage-controlled stereo pedals designed to produce rich chorus and delay effects. Utilizing BBD (bucket brigade device) chips powered at 15V, these pedals offer a sound reminiscent of vintage studio rack units from the late 1970s.
The FL5B provides a cleaner tone with a delay range from 12ms to 470ms, featuring a maximum clean delay time of 280ms. In contrast, the FL5D delivers a more lo-fi character, with additional low-end frequencies and a delay range from 16ms to 630ms, achieving a maximum clean delay time of 350ms. The FL5D is also more susceptible to distortion, beginning to clip with a 1V peak-to-peak signal compared to the FL5B's 2V.
