The Trickfish External Preamp (EPA) is a versatile preamp designed for both passive and active instruments. It delivers the signature sound of the Internal Pre Amp (IPA) in a pedal format, providing a three-band EQ that enhances your existing tone without altering your instrument.
Musically, the EPA allows for precise tonal shaping with selectable frequency points per band. You can adjust the bass shelving boost or cut at either 40Hz or 80Hz, mid frequencies at 330Hz, 375Hz, 430Hz, or 500Hz, and treble shelving at 4kHz or 8kHz. This flexibility makes it ideal for adding a high-quality preamp and EQ stage to your pedalboard, whether used before or after your effects chain.
