Explorer Deluxe

The Explorer Deluxe by Spaceman Effects is a photocell-driven, six-stage optical phaser designed to create a wide range of modulation effects. This pedal is capable of producing everything from gentle swirling tones to intense wash sounds, thanks to its Level and Mix controls that allow you to adjust volume and blend. When set to 100% wet, the Mix knob also introduces pitch modulation. Musically, the Explorer Deluxe offers versatile modulation capabilities with Speed, Resonance, and Range controls, enabling slow spirals and sharp sweeps. The five-position Shape switch lets you select between various waveforms, including Sine, Triangle, Square, Saw-Up, and Saw-Down, or choose Manual mode for a fixed phase sweep. Additionally, an Expression/CV input allows for expressive control over speed or sweep position. Each unit is hand-soldered in Portland and features true bypass for optimal signal integrity.
