The EXPLODER is an extensively upgraded and modified version of the gain circuit found in the WHEN THE SUN EXPLODES. This full-range distortion unit offers a plethora of tone customization options and is designed to fit seamlessly on your pedalboard.
At its core, the gain circuit features a 3-way switchable hard-clipping pre-amplifier that provides a staggering 1000x gain amplification, leading into an active 3-band EQ post-amplifier that allows you to finely tune your signal across the entire frequency range, capable of producing everything from gritty amp-like overdrives to intensely powerful fuzz tones.
