With the ability to save two preset versions—heel and toe—you can easily transition between different settings. For instance, when paired with the DL4™ Delay Modeler, you can shift from brief analog delays to longer, modulated echoes with ease. The EX-1 also offers control over pitch effects, enabling dramatic pitch shifts on devices like the M9 and M13 Stompbox Modelers. The EX-1 allows for the creation of custom wah sounds, particularly effective with the Q-Filter model in the FM4 Filter Modeler, as well as various wah models in the M9 and M13. Additionally, it facilitates expressive volume swells, ideal for achieving pedal steel-like fades when connected to your Line 6 gear.
