The Echodriver by Troy Van Leeuwen is a distortion pedal designed to provide a harmonically rich, mid-scooped tone that excels in live performances. It is engineered to ensure clarity and presence, making it suitable for cutting through dense mixes. This pedal features a notch-style filter for versatile EQ shaping. The Tone control effectively scoops mids at its center position, rolls off low frequencies when lowered, and softens highs when boosted, allowing for precise tonal adjustments tailored to your guitar and amplifier. Clipping is achieved through a blend of MOSFET and NOS Germanium diodes, offering warm, responsive gain. A toggle switch on the right engages Silicon clipping for a more aggressive sound, while the left toggle bypasses the tone stack entirely, providing unfiltered drive directly to your amp. The Echodriver operates on 9 to 18 volts for enhanced headroom and dynamic response.
