The Halberd Overdrive and Germanium Boost pedal is a versatile 2-in-1 effects unit. The Halberd provides a rich, transistor-driven overdrive characterized by its weight and clarity, while the Germanium Boost enhances even lower-quality transistors with a dynamic gain stage, utilizing an automatic biasing circuit.
Both effects can be activated independently via footswitches. The default configuration allows the Boost to feed into the Halberd, but the pedal also offers separate inputs and outputs for flexible routing options, including series, order swapping, or parallel operation.
