DW400 Dynamic Wah/ Human Voice
BehringerProduct Description
If you believe you've experienced the full range of auto-wah capabilities, prepare to be amazed by the DW400! This wah pedal is truly expressive.
A wah pedal operates by utilizing a filter that sweeps through a broad frequency range, enhancing and emphasizing particular tones. As the sweep reaches higher frequencies, it produces vowel-like sounds that echo the human voice. Early wah pedals required manual footswitch manipulation, similar to a see-saw. However, the DW400 automates this sweep based on your control preferences. Alternatively, you can connect an expression pedal (sold separately) for a classic approach. With BEHRINGER's Real Sound Modeling technology, the DW400 mimics the human voice like no other pedal.
You can manage the DW400’s frequency sweeps by tapping a tempo with your foot or adjusting the dials. After selecting from three modes—Synth/Up/Down, Human Voice, and Tap Tempo—you can fine-tune the Vowel (A/E/I/O/U) Sensitivity, Manual Vowel selection, and Decay dials to achieve your perfect wah sound. This pedal can be powered by a 9 V battery or an external DC Power Supply (not included).
