"When Benson first inquired about my ideal pedal, I expressed a desire to blend my favorite fuzz tones with vintage echoes. I've always enjoyed placing my echoes and delays before my distortion pedals to create unique sounds. This idea served as our starting point, and it evolved into a pedal that surpassed our original vision. Describing it merely as a 'gated fuzz pedal with an echo function' would fail to capture its true nature! In addition to the punchy gated sounds, I aimed for a fuzz that could produce thick, straightforward tones or resonate with the dreamy textures reminiscent of My Bloody Valentine. I wanted it to clean up beautifully and function as a treble booster for my guitar solos, or to evoke a surreal soundscape filled with oscillations and intriguing textures. In essence, it has become the most captivating and adaptable pedal on my board."
