Daisho

The Daredevil Daisho is a dynamic fuzz and octave pedal developed in collaboration with renowned guitarist Earl Slick. This dual-effect unit features independent circuits, including an optional noise gate to manage background noise effectively during performances. Musically, the Daisho offers a versatile fuzz sound. Its simple controls include Volume and Gain, along with a depth tone stack that allows you to enhance or reduce low-end frequencies. Turning the depth knob counterclockwise yields a vintage, bright tone, while adjusting it clockwise adds substantial low-end thickness for a more contemporary fuzz sound. The Octave circuit, positioned before the fuzz, produces harmonics that enhance sustain and adds a rich bite to your playing. The noise gate control can be adjusted to minimize unwanted noise, particularly useful at high gain settings. You can also bypass the noise gate when working with lower gain levels to preserve tonal subtleties. The Daisho can be used independently or stacked with other effects for expanded sound options.
