Curveball Junior

The Curveball is a versatile 3-band EQ equipped with dual Boost capabilities and can function as a clean channel preamp. The crucial Mid frequency can be selected via the Mid switch, allowing you to replicate the 3-band passive EQs found in classic US and UK amplifiers, with the Thrash EQ setting finely tuning the midrange for metal tones. The Mid knob enhances this frequency range in a pronounced manner, making it an excellent tool for achieving dynamic wah-like tones. The Low knob offers a shelving boost but cuts like a Tight control, enabling you to refine the attack further. Similarly, the High EQ boosts in a shelving style while attenuating highs like a standard guitar tone control, giving you maximum flexibility for your front-end boost adjustments. The secondary boost feature allows you to accommodate two different guitars or set distinct boost levels. By pressing and holding the footswitch, the EQ remains ON while the secondary boost is activated. A subsequent press of the footswitch grants you an extra boost of up to 10 dB.
