Compact Series Zonk Machine

The British Pedal Company Compact Series Zonk Machine is a modern, compact version of the iconic Zonk Machine MKI pedal, which was created by Wilsic Sound for John Hornby Skewes and manufactured in Leeds, England from 1965 to 1966. Its design and circuit layout closely resemble those of the original MKI Tone Bender, crafted by Gary Hurst, featuring a 3 transistor circuit. However, this modified circuit delivers a distinct, tighter sound with reduced low-end and increased boost compared to the Tone Bender. Due to their limited production run, the original models are extremely rare and rank among the most coveted pedals globally.
