The ZVEX Channel 2 is a low gain overdrive and booster pedal tailored for guitarists seeking clarity and versatility. It features two controls: Master Volume and Gain, with the Gain knob allowing adjustments from unity to +24dB, influencing both gain and DC bias on the MOSFET transistor. It’s normal to hear a rushing noise during adjustments. At lower gain settings, Channel 2 offers an input impedance of 5 million ohms, delivering a bright, clear texture when connected directly, enhancing even the dullest guitar cables.
