The ENGL CABLOADER is a versatile speaker cabinet simulator, impulse response (IR) loader, and direct injection (DI) box. This device enables you to connect your pedalboard directly to a recording interface, create a complete DI setup, or practice silently with headphones. Equipped with a variety of IR-based cabinet simulations, the CABLOADER allows you to replicate the sound of a mic’d guitar speaker, offering options for different cabinet models and microphone placements. It also supports third-party IR loading through proprietary software, enabling you to incorporate .wav IR files from various manufacturers or studios into your setup.
