Boosted Fuzz

The Boosted Fuzz by Southampton Pedals combines a Rangemaster-style circuit with a Fuzz Face to deliver a versatile fuzz effect. This pedal allows for a range of tones, from tight, velcro-like textures to rich, saturated fuzz. Equipped with low-gain silicon transistors, the Boosted Fuzz captures many qualities of germanium fuzzes, such as smooth clipping and effective volume rolloff, while offering stability. The 'Pre' knob adjusts the overall tonal character, enhancing bass at higher settings and softening the fuzz at lower ones. The 'Bias' knob controls the saturation level, enabling everything from a faint, velcro-like fuzz to a fully saturated sound. The interactive controls allow for extensive tonal shaping, though some oscillation may occur at certain settings.
