The Architect of Reality is a dual-channel preamp pedal designed for versatile tonal shaping. It allows you to blend low and high gain channels in AOR mode, with each channel accessible via independent footswitches. Powered at an internal 36V+ (using a 9V Boss-style adapter), it delivers increased headroom and sensitivity akin to traditional amplifiers.
Musically, the first channel offers a heavy crunch with a rock feel reminiscent of classic British amps, while the second channel introduces an AOR character that can be mixed with the first. This provides a wide range of gain options, from tight tones suitable for Thrash and Heavy Metal to darker sounds fitting for Doom and Stoner Metal.
The control layout features Presence, Bass, Mid, and Treble knobs, with toggle switches for boost functions for durability. The pedal is handmade in Texas using high-quality Kemet and Nichicon capacitors, housed in a black powder-coated enclosure with a gold mist overlay and UV printed graphics.
