The Andromeda Natural Overdrive is a reimagining of the Nobels ODR-1, a lesser-known pedal from Germany that is nonetheless regarded as a “secret weapon” by Nashville studio players.
A common criticism of the ODR-1 is its excessive bass, which cannot be adjusted. To address this, the Andromeda features a variable bass control, drawing inspiration from the Timmy and Zendrive. With the knob turned all the way up, you still get the original tones, but now you can reduce the bass as needed.
