Always On High Pass Filter

This is a conventional Broughton high pass filter with the bypass switch eliminated, enabling a more streamlined design that fits neatly on a single pedal board rail or can even be mounted under a pedal board. The filter operates as a 12 dB per octave low frequency filter. The control knob adjusts the cutoff frequency, smoothly transitioning from 25 Hz to 190 Hz. While it shares the same frequency points as the switched variant, it does not feature the frequency markings around the knob. The standard input impedance is 1MΩ. The output impedance is 100Ω. This unit is compatible with both active and passive instruments, as well as other equipment like pedals, preamps, or effects loops.
