Soft Drive

The Soft Drive overdrive effects pedal is designed to recreate the sound and response of vintage valve amps, based on the Pete Cornish SS-3 circuit. Utilizing germanium NOS diodes, this overdrive pedal provides a range of tonal options, from mild amp-like breakup to powerful rhythmic distortion and saturated lead tones. The circuit includes a Cornish-style buffer preamp, offering reduced RFI, low impedance output, and minimized "ghost noise" in bypass. The bypass mode is selectable between a buffered bypass and a true bypass via an internal switch.
