The Radius is a ring modulator pedal and frequency shifter featuring pitch tracking, an advanced LFO, and stereo input/output. Utilizing an eight-quadrant multiplier algorithm, it provides a variable transition between ring modulation and frequency shifting, with independent frequency ratios for upper and lower tones. The pedal’s sum and difference frequency ratios, level controls, and selectable LFO waveforms enable a broad range of timbral modifications including harmonic textures, tremolo, phaser, and metallic sounds. Pitch tracking with a push-to-tune footswitch lets users align the carrier oscillator in real time, while envelope follower and expression pedal assignment add dynamic, performance-based modulation. The LFO section offers triangle, square, random, step-sequencer shapes, and two custom X waveforms, all available for envelope triggering.
