This pedal features a high/low signal switch, an independent buffer on/off switch, and two key controls: Level and Master. The Level control adjusts the amount of gain, crunch, and overall tonal coloration, while the added Master control allows for fine-tuning of the output volume, maintaining unity gain or compensating for increases in drive. With the Master knob set fully clockwise, the gain structure replicates the original Preamp Crunch Classic circuit. Reducing the Master control allows high-gain settings with manageable output levels.
