Utilizing a rare NOS (New Old Stock) Soviet germanium transistor, the pedal provides up to 20dB of boost and operates with a simple circuit inspired by vintage treble boosters like the Dallas Rangemaster. At lower settings, the pedal attenuates your signal; when dialed up, it delivers additional gain, subtle distortion, and pronounced treble emphasis. An internal control adjusts the frequency range for the boosted highs, from a broad band at 120 Hz up to a focused 500 Hz boost. True bypass switching ensures your tone remains unaffected when the pedal is disengaged.
