The Moollon Custom Shop 3 Plus is a versatile effect unit that combines a compressor, equalizer, DI, and signal boost, making it suitable for both studio and live performances. Ideal for acoustic guitarists and electric bassists, it features dual Amp/Mic outputs along with direct console outputs for efficient connectivity. Musically, the compressor offers natural compression for leveling input signals, while the EQ section allows for extensive tonal shaping, helping to manage feedback and control frequencies that may become overwhelming. The signal boost provides up to 12dB of clean gain, effectively enhancing weaker pickups or elevating solos without altering tone. Additional features include a send/return loop for integrating other pedals, and transformer-balanced DI output for easy connection to mic inputs or preamps. The unit operates with a 9V negative tip adapter (BOSS PSA type) only, and does not support battery operation.
