Daisho

The Daredevil Pedals Daisho is a two-in-one fuzz and octave effects pedal developed in collaboration with Earl Slick. It features independent fuzz and octave circuits, with the octave above section wired before the fuzz for enhanced harmonic response. Controls include Volume, Gain, and a Depth tone stack for adjusting low-end frequencies—counter-clockwise yields a vintage, brighter sound, while clockwise delivers modern, heavy fuzz tones. An integrated noise gate offers variable control to minimize noise during use, particularly at high gain or with the octave engaged. Both the fuzz and octave channels are independently switchable, allowing for flexible signal routing and stacking with other effects.
