The Wren and Cuff Caprid OG is a vintage-inspired fuzz effects pedal, designed as a detailed reproduction of the mid-1970s violet-era Ram's Head Muff circuit. This fuzz stompbox features three hand-selected orange-dot transistors and one violet-dot transistor, paired with 1/2 watt carbon composition resistors, and high-quality capacitors. The unit is constructed in a full-size enclosure and delivers a saturated, balanced fuzz sound with prominent sustain, controlled lows, and a distinctive midrange scoop. This Caprid OG is available in a limited Black-Violet Custom Color finish, matching the sonic and build specifications of the Blue-Violet edition, differing only in its visual design.
