Bent Time Drive

The Rucci Handmade Electronic Instruments Bent Time Drive is a multi-effect stompbox combining delay, pitch shifting, and overdrive effects with circuit-bending architecture. Designed with multiple feedback loops, it can generate sounds autonomously, similar to a no-input mixing configuration. The pedal offers dedicated controls for drive, feedback, and time, each tuned to exploit the hardware’s full range and introduce distinctly degraded audio processing. Three bend points provide access to feedback and glitch effects through independent momentary buttons and toggle switches, allowing for varied and combinable manipulation of the signal path. Interactions between settings can produce unpredictable soundscapes and audio disruption.
